Black and White by Paul Volponi"

This book is about two best friends who are different race. One of them is black and the other is white . That's is a reason why the book is called "Black & White" . The conflict of this book was that white and black were trying to gather money for the basketball team uniform. So they both decide to get money the easy way out. They decide to rob people. Black had a gun up in his attic that was his grandfather but he had passed away. There was many times when there plan worked but there was this time they had shot a man inside a car by mistake. So the guy remember Black from the time. So he had got in trouble. The guy they shot was the same guy black takes the bus. so at the end black had went to jail when it was that white that had shot the guy. The reason why i liked this book was because it something that can happen in real life . it is realistic fiction , i favorite genre. I dislike that Black was the only one who had gotten in trouble when they were both in the mess. I consider the problem a racist act. From reading this book you can learn many things, one is you should think ahead of what the consequence might be. In my opinion i will recommend this book to people who are into realistic fiction because it can happen in anybody life. Also for whoever likes basketball and teen issues. Rating this book i will give it a 4 because it was very good on til i found out that white didn't get in trouble. that was very unfair in my opinion.
